An okay shoe. The tread is similar to a road running shoe and should not be used on a technical or wet trail. The weight is fine, nothing special. I have used these for training on Mt. Diablo and in a couple of races.

I rarely use these because I prefer the North Face Chinscraper or Singletrack. I am surprised that The North Face is still selling this shoe, since it is an old model and they make better shoes like the Rucky Chucky, Chinscrapper and others.

Price Paid: $70

Had this for one year already. Can wear on almost any terrain and will not disappoint. Working in Afghanistan, if it can survive this harsh place it can survive anywhere.

Materials: Mesh upper
Use: ALL Terrain
Break-in Period: None
