Suunto Core

Three Suunto Core watches died on me in rapid succession. I had three Suunto Core watches in 2010. The first one lasted about six months then crashed. I returned it to the store where I had originally bought it and they replaced it with a new one. It lasted about a month then stopped working. I returned it to the same store. Suunto Core

14 years old and still going! Purchased this watch for a deployment to Afghanistan in 2007 and have been wearing it off and on ever since. This includes 14 years of rough military training.  Customer Service from Suunto was great after I failed to seal the battery cover and caused water damage at year two or so. They replaced the computer for $80 then bezel and bands for free. Yes, it was the same watch based on distinctive marks in the casing.  So hear I am, fourteen years later, just finding… Full review

Garmin Fenix 5X

GPS being made small enough to fit on a wristwatch has made life more interesting. The Garmin fenix 5x has certainly been great for multi-activity tracking. I first bought the Garmin Fenix 2, then the 3, and now I possess the Garmin Fenix 5x. It's great for any and all activities.  I got it used on ebay within my price range and it's everything I was looking for in a watch and more.  Full review

Garmin fenix 6 Pro

The Garmin Fenix 6 Pro is a fantastic data tracker for the person who needs immediate information at the click of a button. Great for hiking and backpacking if you have the time to figure out how to work it. I received my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro as a gift from my wife the week it was released (what's it been, 2 years?) to replace my 1st Gen Apple Watch. Watch is AWFUL. Suunto refused to replace it even though it was UNDER WARRANTY. Terrible company. Go with Garmin, more expensive but you won't have to replace your watch every 6 months. Full review

Casio 3202 Twin Sensor Watch

Works fine. Very happy with it.   I just needed an altimeter watch for whiteouts in the winter while hiking. I've been using it in weather around 15–35ºF so far and it works fine. Very happy with it. Had it for about a month. The manual is a problem to read, but I solved that by downloading the PDF version from the Internet and enlarging it on my desktop. Done that way, it is easy to figure out. Casio 3202 Twin Sensor Watch

I purchased two of this watch. Had this model for 8 years till a jeweler replaced the battery then this watch failed, so I purchased another on Amazon. The barometer did not work so Amazon sent a second watch. This watch has the same problem, no barometer arrowhead. Full review
