White Box

Bill Ballowe designed the White Box Alcohol Stove for lightweight backpacking, launching his brand in 2006. Ballowe opted to use larger 24-ounce wide body cans versus the typical pop can stoves because "they held more fuel and were able to boil enough water for several backpackers."

White Box Alcohol Stoves are manufactured in Montana using heavy duty, 100 percent recycled aluminum bottles salvaged from landfills and recycling centers.
