What to write?
Not sure what to write? Consider these things when reviewing outdoor food and drink:
Taste: Did it taste good? How's the flavor? Would you eat or drink it again?
Prep: How easy is it to prepare in the backcountry? Did it pair well with other outdoor foods?
Satiety: Did it fill you up as expected?
Energy: Did it provide sufficient energy for the calories?
Claims: Did it meet any nutritional or performance claims?
Packaging: Was it convenient to pack in and out?
Best For: Who would you recommend to? For what activities, where, when?
Make it a Killer Review
Don’t rant Readers want to read a constructive review of the gear, not listen to your angry rant. Keep personal attacks and disputes out of your review. Be constructive with criticism. You don’t need to be rude or cruel to be honest. More tips for a killer review »
