What to write?
Here are some things to consider when reviewing apparel:
Fit & Comfort: How is the overall fit: arms, legs, torso, hood, etc? Is the garment comfortable during outdoor activities? Any friction, tightness, gapping, etc?
Adjustability: Can the garment be adjusted with cuffs, cords, or other devices?
Water Resistance: If waterproof or water-resistant, how does it hold up to rain and snow?
Breathability: How well does the garment vent during activity?
Moisture: Does the material wick sweat away from your skin?
Warmth: Does it keep you warm or cool as expected outdoors? While active? While at rest?
Layering: How well does it layer with other outdoor apparel?
Abrasion: How well does it handle abrasion under normal outdoor use?
Function: Are pockets, zippers, drawcords, hoods, cuffs functional and convenient?
Ease of Use: Do parts and features work as expected? Consistently?
Features: Any noteworthy features, designs, or technology (ex. UPF protection, insect resistance)? Do they live up to expectations?
Construction & Durability: Is it well made? How has it held up over time?
Conditions: Where, when, and how long have you used this gear?
