What to write?

Here are some things to consider when reviewing a book or map:

  • Content: What does it cover? What info is included? Are there maps, illustrations, or images?
  • Structure: How is the info laid out and presented? Is it easy to find? Does it make sense?
  • Genre: How does this book or map compare to others in its category? No book can cover everything on a subject or place, but does this one offer unique and useful info?
  • Audience: For whom is this book written? For what range of experience levels?
  • Author: Who wrote this book? What is their background and expertise in the subject? How well do they present the info and in what style?
