Vasque Arrowhead Keeps Winter Feet Dry, Warm

When cold weather or a few snowflakes won't stop you from heeding the call of the trail, there's Vasque new Arrowhead UltraDry insulated boot.

Weighing in at 2 lbs 2 oz, the snowshoe-compatible, Arrowhead UltraDry is an athletic, lightweight boot for snowshoeing and hiking when the weather takes a wintery turn.

The Arrowhead UltraDry features UltraDry (Vasque’s proprietary waterproofing membrane) and 200 grams of 3M Thinsulate. A breathable reflective lining reflects the body's natural heat for warmth equal to an additional 200gms of insulation without the weight, says Vasque.

Loaded with dedicated snow features, the Arrowhead UltraDry includes a full-coverage softshell shroud to shield gussets from ice and crud, an asymmetrically zipped boot top, and a single-pull Kevlar lace system for quick, on-the-fly adjustment.

The Arrowhead UltraDry will be available fall 2013 in men’s sizing ($169.99).
