CamelBak has introduced its “Steel of a Deal” program, offering a free CamelBak insulated stainless steel water bottle to consumers who send in a photo of their aluminum water bottle with a liner containing Bisphenol A (BPA).

So you switched out your old plastic water bottle for a supposedly healthier aluminum bottle. That means no BPA, right? Not necessarily. If you’re using a SIGG or Laken aluminum water bottle manufactured before August 2008 your bottle’s liner contains some level of Bisphenol A.
