Earlier today we launched a new feature to help keep Trailspace members up-to-date with threads of personal interest in the Trailspace forums.
Subscribing to a forum
Subscribing to a specific forum (for example, Backcountry, Gear Selection, Climbing, Paddling) will give you a daily email notification listing all new topics posted in that forum.
To subscribe to a forum, just click the "Subscribe" link at the top of the forum's index:
Subscribing to a forum thread
When you subscribe to a forum thread, your daily email also will alert you to any new messages in that thread.

You also can subscribe to threads in which you participate by checking the "notify me" box when posting a message:
Notification emails
The emails you'll receive are simple and to the point:
Our subscription system will try to keep your inbox as uncluttered as possible. All of your notifications will be bundled into one daily email message that summarizes activity in both your subscribed forums and threads. Emails are sent just once a day, and if there's nothing new to report, we won't send anything.
Adding "notifications@trailspace.com" to your address book will help make sure that your Trailspace notifications aren't trapped by your spam filter.
Unsubscribing
If you've subscribed to a forum or topic, you'll see an "Unsubscribe" link in place of "Subscribe." One click will cancel your subscription. You can also view and manage your subscriptions in the Manage Subscriptions section of your account.
