what a cool video!  I am guessing it means four months, which is a pretty fast time for hiking the whole AT. 

(BTW, I think I will move this over to Backcountry- it will definitely be on topic there, and would be great for visitors and newer members to see (they can't see or comment in the Off Topic forum)

Oh, I get it.

3:27 is the Franconia Ridge in the White Mountains.

3:30's is the Presidential Range. 3:33 might be on Mount Pleasant a.k.a. Eisenhower, looking north at the other prezzies.

The blue sign at 3:37 says "Welcome to Maine" so 3:39 is probably Mahoosuc Notch just over border -- supposedly the toughest mile on the AT, lots of scrambling amongst boulders.

After that it's up into ME where I haven't spent much time.
