Vango Hydra 300

Can anyone give me the low-down on the Hydra 300? I am thinking about buying one on-line but cannot get the time to get to a shop to see it before I buy.

I'm interested in finding out where it is lacking rather than how good it is (although that helps too!)

Thanks

jim

Re: Vango Hydra 300

Hey Jim, although I do not own one of these tents, I have heard a resounding major complaint. It seems as though there is a flat spot on top of the roof and fly where water seems to collect into a puddle. When there is a puddle on top of material it will eventually leak. I do not know however if this design flaw has been addressed. HAppy Trekking!!!

Re: Vango Hydra 300

Hi Jim

We used them out for expeditions out in Morocco and they did the trick, just glad that we had mules to carry them!

Jim, or anyone else, do you know where I might be able to track down a repalcement pole set?

Jez
