Looking for Big Horn Sheep on the Middle Fork Trail

Next up in the search for the San Gabriel Big Horn Sheep. The Middle Fork Trail. This trail connects the Ice House Saddle with the Lytle Creek area. It is not as popular as many of the trails in this area. In fact, once on the Middle Fork I did not see a single human track. Going solo has it's own challenges. Especially when traveling at night. I would rate the Middle Fork Trail as a moderate to difficult. It certainly can get steep, and there are a few places it is completely washed out. Yet there is water and waterfalls. Awesome views and mysteries yet to be solved. The trip report is with the pictures..
