ProLite 3 Sleeping Pad

I just ordered a ProLite 3 to cut down on weight. Haven't used it yet. I've been using a Luxury Edition for quite some time. Am I in for a shock?

Wouldn't "shock" but you will find it significantly less cushy and insulating than the thicker pad. That said, carefully choose where you will sleep and you'll most likely find that for 3 season the prolite 3 will do fine.

I usually inflate until extremely firm then when lying in a comfortable position slowly release air so that it gives just a bit. Steve
