my mates used a ferrino's "geo 3" on a mountaineering trip to indian himalaya in april this year. it's a geodistic dome 3-men tent as the name "geo-3" suggested. out of the 10 days in the mountain, we had only one somewhat bad weather day with the wind blowing at 30kmh+ and dumping 4 inches of snow on an exposed ridge at about 3800m. and the tent stood up well with no apparent problems encountered.
