Shoe advice

Can anyone suggest a good Sandal, other than the plain Tevas, that would be good for Honduras?

Re: Shoe advice

REI has a big selection. I have a pair of Reef sandals I like a lot, but they are leather. Nylon would probably fare better in Honduras. Try Chacos or a similar brand.

As far as the pack is concerned, REI or Gregory should be able to recommend something to clean it.

Chacos are a lot better sandal than Teva's. I've owned both and there is no comparison. Well worth the extra money. Shop them hard, you may be able to find a web bargain somewhere. With Teva's I've had problems with the velcro coming undone. Chacos stay on your feet.
