boot size

I am having trouble finding a high quality boot that fits my wide foot. I just purchased a pair of Lowa Banf boots that I found to be very well made but too narrow. Has anyone used Alico Guide or Summit boots? No dealers in my area carry them but they have some good deals at Sierra Trading Post.

I have wide feet too. I use a Vasque Sundowner. I found it a bear to break in though it is good so far.

I have not done anything to truly challenge the boot.

Vasque makes a wide variety of boots in wide. But also advise you check whether you are getting the correct length. After several unsuccessful size 13 EE, I got fitted by a Phil Oren trained bootfitter - a size 15 D. (arch length is a 14.5, overall length 13, plus my foot elongates when I put weight on it. so they fit me in a 15). My feet are much happier. Steve
