Another introduction...
Hi, I am new to this site too.
I am an urban hiker and do alot of my trail time locally on Barton Creek here in Austin. I periodically get out of town. My last trip was to Havasu Falls, and my next trip is going to be to Zion. I also like to get out and go fly fishing.
I have been looking for a site like this with a focus on gear and glad I found it. I have been in product development all my life and am a complete gear junky.
I am currently cleaning out the camping closet and have some gear that I want to sell. I hope to make some posts on that soon.

Welcome, Dave! We're always glad to welcome another gear junkie to Trailspace, especially one with product development experience.
As you may already know, you can post gear for sale or trade or to buy in Trailspace's Classifieds section: http://www.trailspace.com/forums/classifieds/
It's a good way to clean out the camping closet and recycle that still-usable gear you no longer need or use.

How's it going Dave? My name is Austin and am a fellow Texan. I was just talking the other day to someone about how much we missed Barton Springs with its cold, clear water. Frequent that place much? I'm stuck in Lubbock for school so I really miss my hill country home. Austin is a great city for outdoor types. But anyways, nice to meet you and hope to see you around.

I was just down at Bull Creek this morning. The creeks are flowing great with all this rain. I have been trail running twice a week and jumping in the creek afterward. What a great way to start the day...

I am heading to Zion at the end of September. I am hoping the floods and fires are cleared up by then.
I have been tracking it, though, through the Yahoo Group on Zion/Bryce NP...
