modifying pack for small person?

Hello,

my wife is fairly slim. She is unable to find a daypack that has a belt that will securely fit on her waist. This causes the pack to hang too much on her shoulders, and causes back pain.

Sometimes she'll tie a shirt around her waist, and this really helps.

Is there a way to modify the belt or pack so this does not happen?

I'm not sure if we could add some padding some how?

thanks

Mark

welcome to the forum.

Has she been measured for a pack? That would help. There are packs around for smaller people, but not many.

She might also try a larger hip pack instead of a regular day pack.
