New Garmin 62st for sale.

Purchased at a local REI.  Comes with the box and cable.  NO instruction manual, but one can be downloaded from their website.

No scratches, blemishes or damage.  Comes with the Garmin clip.

Asking $300.

Retails for between $430 - $499 so this is an excellent opportunity to snag a great piece of navigation equipment.

Paypal preferred but not a deal breaker.

CONUS only.

They sound nice, but I still use when I need to navigate my 1968 Brunton Boy Scout compass.

It's hard to beat good old fashioned orienteering skills.

I still use my garmin etrex. I don't even know how old it is, but it still works good.

In use both a paper map, compass and the garmin model 60 CSx....

The garmin can be used for many things besides getting from point A to point B. It can log time point out the trail in the back country for a review later, find places you want to know about and etc etc etc.

I could live with out it, but i wouldn't want to..
