Hi, i amHi there,

i am the proud, happy owner of a very old camp stove (Hank Roberts Mark III mini stove made by Olson Industries) that uses small cans of 702 LP (butane) 6 ounce gas fuel canisters with rubber
nipples. Can't seem to find these canisters anywhere.
Can anyone help? i live in Bay Area (Oakland) California, but am willing to send away for these canisters, as i LOVE this stove!

thanks,
Lynn (lsagra44@yahoo.com)

Lynn-I would be interested in knowing whether/where you find the cylinders! I have an old Coleman stove, Mdl 5409 that requires the "Hank Roberts" type LP cannisters. A Coleman service rep told me that this type of cannister was discontinued in 1999 due to some government regulation. Pretty sad since the stove I have is "as new". Doesn't appear to have ever been used. The cylinders used to be sold at Ace Hardware and some sporting goods stores. Maybe someone out there has a case or two stashed away! Have a great day! Ron

Lynn-Check out this URL. There is what appears to be some good info for this cannister. http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=124162&messageid=1028121766

I'm looking for the Hank Robert's fuel cans, also.

I've been using HR stoves for about 20 years and I love the compact design.

If those canisters aren't available anymore, are there some substitutes to use - or a needle replacement for the stove?

Please e-mail me with any replies. Thanks,
