New in Box, No Reserve, Raichle Everest Heavy Duty Mountaineering Boots, US 9, EUR 8, Mondo 27. Purchased about two years ago for a trip that never took place. Never used, hiked in or anything like that. Was a store display model, without laces, never used. Photos available upon request.

Construction details: 3.2mm rough-out full-grain leather, 1.4mm Napa leather lining, modified Norwegian-welt construction, gusseted double tongue, full-length nylon-stiff shank, Raichle Bloc/Montagna sole, Raichle rocker, step-in crampon compatible, full rubber-rand above the rocker sole. Weighs a hefty 5 lbs 12 oz for the pair. All handmade Swiss constructed boot. Similar to the La Sportiva Nepal Top and the Lowa Cristallo F1.

These are the last of the Norwegian-welt handcrafted Swiss boots, the current Raichle mountaineering boots are cemented construction. Norwegian-welt boots are the preferred boots for resoling. You'll get many years of use out of these.

Selling because I'll never use this and figured someone who will start mountaineering or go on a NOLS-type semester trip could put this to better use than me.

Boots originally were $350.
