Holubar Daypack/Alpine pack
Hello all, I recently saw an OLD Holubar daypack that was very distinctive and I would like to find one if possible. The pack was pear shaped and the leather shoulder straps were attached to the body of the pack via a large Metal D-ring at the top. The pack had two zipper compartments(top and Bottom) separated by a "Diaphragm" type divider that served as the bottom of the top compartment and the top of the bottom compartment. I was told the pack originally had a Leather bottom but this particular example had long since lost this feature. I am willing to purchase this pack, and would be thrilled to get some decent pictures of one in any condition.

Are you particular to only the Holubar model? Sierra Designs, Alpine Designs, Hine/Snowbridge, and North Face all made that same type back in the 70s with leather bottoms and felt/leather shoulder straps. Beautiful packs, hard to find any these days in great condition!

Blake: I have a Holubar Day Pack that is rectangular shaped, with a full front panel zipper with a pocket on one side and leather patches on the other side--carry strap on top and nylon webbing shoulder straps, some padding in the back. Excellent condition with big Holubar mountain logo in front. Let me know if this might be a suitable substitute!
