Pivetta boots Available
I have read a lot of rave reviews here about Pivetta boots. I too own a pair of size 9A mens. Sadly, after wearing them only a couple of times I outgrew them. They are in pristine shape, waterproofed and shined as new. I would like to sell them for $60 plus shipping. any takers. If you don't know them, they were the number one hiking boot in the late 70s and I think would still be but they went out of business. That is what sometimes happens when you make something too good. They are heavier than most light hikers- About 4 lbs. for the pair. The sole is rather stiff and has a steel shank. They have great ankle support too. You can walk over rocks all day and not feel them. The leather is beautiful top grain Italian tanned cowhide. The insides are lined with soft leather. They have Vibram soles that are like new and from what I have read from others will last you 25 years. These are the best. I wish they still fit.

Re: Pivetta boots Available
Doug,
What model are these boots? Perhaps there is no model number, so do they have - all eyelets and smooth brown leather, all eyelets and smooth black leather, all eyelets and split (suede) leather, or "rough out" leather and rings and hooks?
Do you have any photos I might download?
TIA
Warm regards,
Reed
