This is a used Big Agnes Sarvis SL1 with eVent solo tent. It is a hybrid single wall/double wall tent. The front of the tent is a typical double wall tent with an attached rainfly and bug mesh. The rainfly can be rolled back for star gazing in good weather. The rear portion of the tent is a single wall tent made with eVent fabric. the eVent helps prevent condinsation from forming. The advantage of this hybrid design is that you can have more space for the same amount of weight as a typical ultrlight solo tent. This tent is more like a 1+ person tent. There is room for you, gear, or your dog. There are several vents in the tent to help circulation. There is a vent at the foot of the tent, two roof level vents, and the door can be unzipped to vent as well. I have used this tent in humid conditions as well as in heavy rain and wind. I never had condinsation form inside the tent due to the eVent fabric, and it is bombproof in high winds. The tent weighs approximatly 3.4lb with stuff sacks, poles, and stakes. I also have the footprint that goes with the tent. The tent is in almost new condition. It was bought new in 2005 for $300 plus $50 for the footprint. I rairly used it because I mostly backpack with my wife, and we carry a two person tent. I would say it has been used only 6 times total. I always store the tent inside, completely dry, rolled lously to prevent creasing in the fabric, and clean. This is vary rare tent, and I have never seen another one like it on the trail. It was always the envy of everyone at camp. It was only produced one year. It can be yours for $250.
