they are kinda suede-ish. my buddy told me to buy them tight but they are too tight. They are one of my yardsale finds I'm into them for $50 so I will sell them for $50. They are worn but not worn out. May consider trade for some lightweight trekking poles. I'm a size 10 and these are too snug so if your a 9.5 or even a 9.0 these are for you. I'm located is Mass right near the beutiful Lynn Woods and will do face to face only.
