There is a nice video from the recent Primal Quest Adventure Race that claims to "probably" have the largest fixed rope section ever rigged (6+ miles of rope). Check out the "Closing Ceremonies" video - most of the ropes stuff starts about half way in, but the entire video is entertaining. Link is here: http://www.racingwithgiants.com
