Grivel Salamander Helmet

Recently, I've been back and forth, and back and forth, trying to find and then decide upon a new climbing helmet. You see, I have a small head. Hat size is 6 7/8.

I've tried the Petzl Elios (sizes 1 and 2), the and a couple of "junior" helmets, but I'm not too into bugs and daisies. None seemed to fit the bill (or skull) quite right. The size 1 was too small, and the 2 too large - go figure. I guess I need a 1.5!

I've just ordered a small Grivel Salamander. maybe this will be the one. I couldn't find a local dealer that carried it, so I could try one on. I had to order one online from a Washington shop. If it fits, great. If not, I'll return it like I have with 3 others.

There is a mention of the Salamander Gladiator, with a full face cage in the gear reviews section of this site, but no reviews.

Does anyone own one of these helmets? I'd like to hear your thoughts, good or bad.
