kilimanjaro climb

My sister and I climbed Kilimanjaro on Dec 1st 2009. It was definitely not a cake walk. We did Machami route over 7 days. The summit day was brutally cold. We went with a local company called http://uhuruexpeditions.com/ Our guide and crew were fantastic! They took extremely good care of us. As I reached Stella point, I had the pulmonary edema and had to hauled down. The guide Tunzo did a great job in getting me down the mountain. My sister went up Uhuru.

If anyone is planning on doing Kilimanjaro, I would recommend Uhuru expeditions. They are very professional and take good care of their customers. We also did a 2 day safari with them a great safari time. Also, from a price perspective they were the most competitive.
