Inspiration Peak/Southern Pickets

Anyone been up the west ridge of inspiration peak in the North Cascades lately. I'm interested in pro on the route and would like to keep the rack to a minimum, it's a long way in there.

Also, has anyone recently crossed "The Barrier" from Terror Basin camp to climb Mt. Terror? This looks like it will be interesting.
