Congrats. I have the same one. Great GPS unit and the built in Summit Series maps are great. Make sure you go on the Magellan website and get the firmware updates.

Congratulations. The explorist 610 is quite a unit. It is definitely a great GPS for the hiker.

I have owned and used mine for a year without any problems. If you liked your 310 you will probably love this one.
