I can personally vouch for the ability of these hats to conceal bald spots, protect the cranial surface from damaging UV rays, and accelerate cerebral processing speeds. They also look quite nifty!

My last version was capable of diverting imaginary meteorites(aka hail.) Big Blue loves the color scheme of the new lids. :)

Are these embroidered as well?

At first I was like "oh no, it's white" thinking that these would end up an odd  trail grime tan over time. Gray is cool.

Speaking of which I need to find it. I haven't seen it in a few weeks. :(

TRACEY !!!!!

Alicia, quick question. which Opsrey pack are you wearing?

I ran 20+ in my new hat today and set a PR for that route. Thank you, Trailspace Trail Runner Cap!

Rick, I'm wearing an Osprey Talon 11 pack. I've also got the 22 and 33 models. (Disclosure: I bought all at retail.)

Thanks Alicia, I need to get something a little bigger than my Sratos 26 but smaller than Big Blue(Argon 85L) for weekenders.

The 33 "might" be an option(maybe even the Stratos 36.) I am kinda sad that I gave my 70L away lol. Oh well the current owner is enjoying it so to me that is what matters.

...and as ya may know I am a die hard Osprey fan.

I like the smaller Talons a lot, obviously for when you don't need to carry much. I bought the 22 first, then the 11 for smaller loads. I'm happy enough with the 33, but it is a lightweight pack, without a ton of structure. So it's a style question of how much frame/support you want for your load. It's a good pack, but not for everyone or every use.

For what it's worth, I generally stick to Osprey and Deuter packs, especially women's-specific ones when they're available, since they work for me.

However, I just bought a new Nathan running vest—Intensity (women's)—that I really like and am kind of excited about.

I'll stop here, because I'm a little embarrassed by how many packs I own.

Alicia, you as anyone should know you can never own enough packs, boots, shells, tents, or any other gear for that matter. ;)

Darn! And I just bought a whole bunch of new gear to match the tan one. How is navy blue going to look with an orange jacket?

Just going to have to buy a whole new wardrobe, I guess.

Are the beanies receiving a redesign as well?

These really, really are excellent hats! I have already used mine in Maine, NH, Vermont, Switzerland and Spain. It has kept my head dry in rain (Maine) and cool in the bright sunshine and 90 degree F (30 degree C) heat (yep, Spain), in the last few weeks. I totally love the color, which just happens to match the new wicking Saucony running shirt I bought when I was in Kansas. (Where, under a blazing sun, I did not have said Trailspace hat and sunburned my nose!)
