The Thermolite AERGON Antishock hiking poles feature Leki’s newest antishock system, the Soft Antishock System Lite. So, what did this reviewer, previously biased against antishock poles, think of them?

Great Review.

The earlier shocks serve the purpose well, but the New soft shocks are much less obtrusive, don't squeek, or rebound (noticably).

They Do absorb a lot of impact and cut down on the skittering on rock.

I find the Aergon grip to be fantastic. Try it, you will give your older poles away!

The Speedlock will be great..for the non shock crowd..until Leki figures out a real shock system for an external lock..no rubber bumpers please..
