LEDs really deserve the term 'revolution' when it comes to the outdoors. You can buy as much light as you want now or you can have something useful for a few dollars/pounds. Cycling is getting safer as well. But I wish they would start including free lights on new packs/rucksacks, like they do with whistles, as some people still go walking (or cycling) without them in the winter.
Though all the gadgets in the world won't help some people:

18:59 Cat Bells - Maiden Moor are:
A man, walking alone, reported himself to be lost in the Cat Bells area. We spoke to him on his mobile phone and were able to ascertain that he had a torch and GPS and was on a path. Putting everything together, he was advised to walk downhill to, hopefully, arrive in Grange village - which he did by 20:15 hrs.

Sorry, gonzan. That was my editing fault. The actual Storm MSRP is $49.95.
You were right that it sounded too good to be true.

$50 for that light is still pretty good.
