This thread is for comments on the article "Video: Ultimate Fun on Skinny Skis"
Cross-country skiing today, I watched my son show off his ever-expanding nordic skills. In addition to skiing faster and stronger, those skills now include jumping, attempting tricks, and skiing down a hard-packed sledding hill on his skinny skis.
Watching my kid attempt 360s on the trail brought to mind the video below, "The Ultimate Skiing Showdown" by xczo...

Yes, my most impressive cross-country feat is pulling a kid in a pulk, with the other grabbing on to hitch a ride.
It's not worth watching though, even with a soundtrack.

Agreed funny, but I would not try any of the tricks myself. That skating technic is also too hard for me, and not good for skiing with a pack which i do when skiing backcountry. I only use traditional kick-and-glide.
But admittedly I have done some spectacular stunts in my time, only very glad that noone had a camera and caught me then. LOL.
