I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
...now quit staring at the monitor, go find the biggest rock you can, and climb it.
Or locate the most remote trail you can find that is accessible for you & get out there and hike it.
Either way, just get out there. There is alot of the world left for all of us to see. :)

I am planning to ride my bicycle to a place west of Tucson called Gate's Pass to do some hiking in the Sonoran desert and mountain's nearby tomorrow on Christmas. I will post a trip report later in the week if I go tomorrow.

I will be on a multiday test run of the knee for a 4-5day trip on the LHHT. I am leaving on the 5th.
It should be nice and warm. Temps the other day hit 0 up there.
Very little to no snow so no snowshoes on this one. :(

Ah yes, the good 'ole days.
I recall once being a little toasted myself and deciding to climb up one of the inclines.
Slippery Rock taught us well on how to party.
