weird glitch I noticed

not a big deal just kind of a funny little glitch I noticed on my profile page today. On the right where I can view the posts I have made, it says forum posts, 523.

On the left, however, and in the forums under my name, it says I have made 430ish posts.

why the difference?

Weird, mine too. My best guess is the right side displays ALL posts, now that off-topic posts no longer count towards overall post count the left side might be without the contributions towards off topic conversations.

Mine too my profile says 3567, but to the left under my name its says 2647?

Jake has it right: posts in Off Topic do not count toward the total displayed on the left side.

Links to Off Topic posts are also only displayed to logged-in members. If you log out and view your profile without those links, the numbers should add up properly.
