Svea 123 parts
I'm looking for a new wick(goes inside the tank) for my Svea
stove. I believe the wick for an optimus 8R will work
as well..

Re: Svea 123 parts
Hi JB, Depending upon where you live I've got a couple of sources. In the US, A&H Hardware sells spare parts for a 123. http://packstoves.com/ The item may not be listed on their web site, but they will likely have them if you call. I've bought from them and the folks there are top shelf.
In Europe, the place to go is the Basecamp. http://www.base-camp.co.uk/ I've also bought from the Basecamp and they are great to deal with as well.
If you are the do it yourself type, I have heard, but not tried, that a wick can be fashioned out of any sort of cotton material, such as from a mop.

Re: Svea 123 parts
I just picked up a reapir kit from A&H AKA packstoves.com) They are the us repair center for these stoves. Great people I walked in and they took the time to show me how to repair my stove. Parts are not cheap but all OEM.
The wick is 7.50.
Give them a call
