treating for mildew then waterproofing

how soon and what would i need to do to waterproof my tent after I have treated the canvas roof for mildew?

Do a Yahoo or Google search for "canvas waterproofing" and several articles will appear in the search results that should help you. How you treat the fabric depends on what kind of canvas material it actually is-there are several types.
