I have both, for different purposes and they are a bit cramped in height for your needs. Also, IF you get food smells on these while cooking and then a bear visits your site, you will lose them to "shredding" by said bear.

I would rig a cheap plastic tarp as a leanto, open end away from the prevailing winds for your purposes and sleep in your tent. Quite frankly, an Electroguard bear fence plus hanging ALL bear attractants and washing with Hunter's Specialties Soap or baking soda, if your hide can handle it, will work better than an other shelter for cooking will.
