Ok,  I watched it.  That is one bad@ss shovel.  I would buy one but, so far, the cheapest I've found is $85.

we'll i would have to say they most likely replaced the shovel after every use, the thickness wasn't there to take any real abuse, you could hear it when he was pounding the nail, and the dirt wasn't hard if you can dig by hand. Go buy a army surplus shove from the 70's and compare it to a new one, the new one is cheap junk. The concept is good, i do like the saw, cutters, and hammer.

SOG makes a model alomst exactly the same as this. You can see it here....

Rob- I wouldn't waste your money. Even at $15 I returned it. Has a lot of functions but it doesn't really excel at any of them. Mediocre at best.

Good link Gary...I've been looking at these things for a while now, and this one is my favorite:

A made in the USA, bomb-proof demo tool...I really like the hollowed-out handle and the end spike...

That crovel extreme is pretty neat. Why did they dig the moat around the tent?

LOL! Love it!

The shield application is the best!! Keep it in your lap in case your car dies, a brigand with a stick attacks and you weren't issued a gun when you were conscripted!

Which western country did they rip this design off from?

Did anyone else see the Ozark Trail logo on the shovel?

"Now available at a WalMart near you!

Just sayin
