unk, are you referring to the Flint 2? If so the current model listed on the manufacturer's page lists the mesh at 40D.
My thought is being that this is the current specs I would say that this is the 2012 model.
Not very familiar with that model as far as use goes but a local Dick's Sporting Goods has them and I looked at a display that was set up some months back.
Looked a bit small for 2 to me. Might make for a decent solo.

TNF came out with the Flint 2 tent last yer (2011) and came out with the Flint 1 and 3 tents this year.
Nice tent IMO. Good materials, nice price and decent size. Yea I'd think of the 2 as a lux 1 and the 3 as a 2. The 1 is a nice little solo tent. If I find it cheap I'd probably get one to try.

Keep in mind the entry design of this tent and fly will expose the tent interior to rain when entering and exiting. Suggest bringing a small umbrella for this purpose.
