Since I've owned my Soulo for a few years now and used it a handful of times, it has never been in inclement weather. We recently had an ice storm in my area so i set up the tent in the backyard and left it setup for about 5 days. There was wind, rain, sleet and snow during the storm. This thing shed everything like the feathers on a duck. I did notice condensation had formed on the inner surface of the outer tent but the inner tent remained dry. I was out in it for a few hours during the storm and despite the wind gusts, it remained stable and quiet. Outside temp was in the teens but inside the tent it was quite comfortable. No leaks.

No storms in a hille? Thats like not watering a plant for a couple years!

How did you truly appreciate its greatness?

No doubt!  The southwest has seen drought conditions for the past several years and it seems when I take my vacation in October, I have the best weather to be in the NM mountains.  More often than not, the skies are sunny, the highs are in the 50 to 60's and the lows seldom dip below 30.  I was very impressed with the way it handled the weather.
