Gregory Z 55 pack

Anyone feedback on this pack? I am looking to buy a light pack around 3500 cu in and below 4 pounds in weight. any other suggestions.

Hi Sujoy,

If you haven't already seen it, there is a user review of the Z 55 at http://www.trailspace.com/gear/gregory/z-55/.

There also are a few reviews of the older Z Pack at http://www.trailspace.com/gear/gregory/z-pack/

I don't know how you'll be using your pack, but if you're looking for a lightweight pack you might be interested in GoLite's new 2007 packs (http://www.trailspace.com/news/2006/09/26/2007-golite-packs.html). They're all under 4 lbs.

If you give some more details about how you'll be using your pack and what you want/need in it you'll probably get some useful advice from this board.

Will be used primarily for week end trips: sleeping bag, some food, clothes, maybe a small tent, usually within 25-30 pounds... walking would be about 6-7 hours a day .. i am presently using the Osprey Finesse which I find a bit small.. so thought of moving up to about 3300-3600 cu in
