Dana Design Bridger
Anyone care to voice there opinion on the older models vs the newer DD Bridger??? I am not talking about the packs that were made after Dana sold the company! 4000 cu. in. Wt 5lb 2oz.
Thanks!

Re: Dana Design Bridger
The Bridger was another in the very good designs by Mr Gleason, fitting just below the Terraplane in size, just as rugged. And like all Dana packs of that era, heavy, but very rugged.
I should repeat a general backpack statement - make sure you have a good pack fitter check you out and show you how to adjust all the straps and other adjustments. Even Mr Gleason's excellent packs do not fit everyone. They fit me very well, as do Ospreys. But for some reason, the excellent Gregory packs, which fit some people very well don't fit me, even after spending a lot of time on the adjustments. Just like boots and shoes - they are designed for a particular shape, which may or may not be your shape.
