Cabela's XPG Backpacks
Does anyone have any experience with the Cabela's XPG brand of backpacks. I am looking for a 5,000cc pack and viewing them in the store they are decently priced and pretty well put together. What I don't know is load carrying capacity and suspension comfort. I will likely be carrying a litte extra weight to take some weight from my young son. Can anyone offer any info??

Never owned an Cabela's pack (yet). Only packs from ALPS Mountaineering and Diamond Brand.
But if the quality is up to par with all of their other branded gear, I trust the pack should prove to give you years of dependable service.
I recently purchased one of their XPG Deluxe tents. I absolutely love the thing! My advice: give the pack a try. I highly doubt you will be sorry.
