Need a Hiking Shoe with minimal support.

Hi everyone, so I've gotten used to hiking in a cheap pair of Columbia's I have...they aren't waterproof, or even hiking shoes at that. I've gotten used to not only hiking in, but wearing shoes that are basically flat. I think wearing shoes like that has strengthened my feet to the point that if I put on shoes with alot of arch support, it feels very uncomfortable, the arch just spears the middle of my foot.

So I ordered a pair of Chaco Canyonlands, because I had heard that it was a more natural fit, but the arch was massive.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for a waterproof, low cut hiking shoe with minimal support and a flexible sole.
