...and no strings attached--except that you had to spend it at Cabela's (yep, it's a gift card)--what would you buy?

This would be my choice, even though the ad is a bit hyped.

From Cabela's Website:

Cabela's continues its tradition of creating innovative fly-fishing products with the introduction of the Rapid Landing System (RLS) Reel. The RLS boasts the same high-end performance features as the best fly reels on the market, and does so at a value-driven price. The RulonĀ® disc drag offers unrivaled smoothness and powerful braking to take on almost any underwater challenger. The large, knurled drag knob makes it easy to adjust the settings during the heat of battle. A large arbor ensures quick line retrieve and less line memory. The RLS is made of lightweight, yet extremely durable machined aluminum with a black-anodized finish. Oversized handle. Quick-release spool. Reel easily converts from left- to right-hand retrieve. Imported.

Gotta have that Rapid Landing System!

I wonder how they do it?

I would add this bag to my backpack.

My bags are getting pretty old now and they not better for anything under 30 degrees. This 3D bag will go down to -20 and it comes in Long.

Boots, bag, beef jerky. Or a fly reel. I think trouthunter might be onto something. That reel caught my eye, too. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a Rapid Landing System reel? Of course, I'm also thinking that this looks good:

Eric--

I do like those Merrell Moab GTX boots. Really like 'em. You might be onto something there.
