Has anyone had any experience with Hennessy's "Scout" hammock? It is so much cheaper than their regular hammocks and I am wondering what the catch is....

It's a Hennesey.
Ha! Just kidding. I've got a Clark NX200 and could never see myself ever using a Hennesey unless it was free. Bottom entry, umm, no thanx. Diagonal sleeping to sleep flat, no thanx. Clark, enter either side, sleep flat and straight. Even, sleep on your side, or even, sleep almost fully on your stomach. Not to mention, the glorious amount of storage space in the outside pockets. And inside pockets too! And then there's the incomparably large fly / tarp. Can ya tell I'm a little partial to my Clark? I've tried almost every hammock out there over the last twenty five years, and none come close to the versatility and comfort of the Clark hammock.
NX200

Sweet hammock. If yer gonna spend the money, get the best. That way you won't have to sell the Hennesey when you try a Clark for the first time and then have to go out and buy yourself one. ;-)
Peace!

The Scout hammock is for those under 5' 10" and has a smaller fly if I recall correctly. I believe the materials used are comparable to the other Hennesey hammocks.
Um...lets see if I can find you a link:

This is the model comparison chart.
Remember don't eat in your hammock in bear country, don't be a bear burrito.
Also give War Bonnet hammocks a look:

They have some very nice features as well.
