The Wilderness Exchange in Berkeley, CA, is closing its doors after 23 years. The Exchange is famous for having super bargains and for buying and selling used gear. I have picked up a lot of things at really cheap prices and am really sorry to see them go. I picked up a half-dozen of the "torch" lighters for $1 each one time, plus XC ski gear. If you are in NorCal, Wilderness Exchange is just across the street and a block down toward University from the Berkeley REI. And in the same vicinity are a North Face outlet and outlets for several other outdoor gear stores.

The gear they have is outdoor gear, not fashion clothing, although they do have some quality shells and fleece in the used section. They say they are closing the doors sometime in mid-July.
