Rainpants, why Black?

I was just looking for a pair of rainpants, but every outdoor company I looked at in REI, Golite and North Face are all the same, all black or dark blue. Does'nt anyone make color raingear anymore? I would like a nice lighter shade of blue, red or even yellow. I used to have a pair of Patagonia rain pants in the 80s that were yellow, wore then for everything from washing dishes at work to rainy days in Alaska and Wyoming. Why has everyone gone black?

5 minutes later:

I found some at Cabela's Yellow bib by Helly Hansen

Because black is slimming and goes with everything. Though some say brown is the new black. I don't know what that means either.

I'll go take my medication now.

The yellow ones above in my picture from Helly Hansen are $29.95-$34.95 I guess depending on size which they come in small to 4x XL. Thats not too bad for price, I saw some that were as much as $450 for some brand!

While at Sports Authority tonight I saw some that looked just like those. The first thing I thought of when I saw them was "Trailspace.com" and this thread :)
